How do the new Travel Advisories affect Travel Medical Coverage?

This change also affects how our political evacuation and terrorism benefits work in relation to the advisories. It’s important for you and your clients to understand these advisories and how they affect coverage. We are in the process of updating our travel medical plans to appropriately reflect these changes. There are now four different Travel Advisory Levels, and these can apply not just to a country but to a specific region or area. The country may be safe, but there may be a specific region where travel is not recommended. Each advisory level can have a corresponding Risk Indicator.
