The Ritz-Carlton allotts each of their employees a certain budget everyday to give their guests a phenomenal experience. At one of their properties, a story is told that one of the guests of the Ritz was returning back to the property after a run on a hot day. The concierge sees the guest approaching and spent some his daily budget to grab the guest a water. However, when the guest approached the door, he asked if they by chance had any soda. The concierge ran to the back, grabbed a soda, and handed it to the guest, who was pleased.
