INSHUR to make benefits more accessible to taxi drivers through collaboration

INSHUR, a provider of commercial auto insurance to Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC) and rideshare drivers in New York, has announced a partnership with Drivers Benefits, The Black Car Fund, and the Independent Drivers Guild. Through the collaboration, Black Car Services drivers in NY can sign up for a Drivers Benefits program whenever they purchase or renew their policy with INSHUR on their smartphones. Drivers Benefits is an initiative run by IDG Benefits Fund. The program is funded by a 2.5% surcharge on all rider fees paid to The Black Car Fund, which pays for benefits such as annual eye exams, access to telemedicine, and safety and wellness classes.
