Pie Insurance launches workers' comp coverage in New Jersey

Pie Insurance has expanded its workers’ compensation insurance offering into New Jersey. With the addition of New Jersey, Pie Insurance’s coverage is now available in 32 states and the District of Columbia. A release said that the company is “on track” to offer coverage from coast to coast in 2020. “We’re here to transform how small businesses get insured,” said Pie Insurance founder John Swigart, who was the former CMO of Esurance. “The response we’ve received from business owners says that it’s working. We’re proud of what we’ve built and who we’ve built it for—and we’re excited to extend our offering to New Jersey’s many entrepreneurs.”
