On March 27, 2019, the US Department of Housing and Urban Development's ("HUD") Federal Housing Administration ("FHA") published the first update to its Single Family Housing Policy Handbook in over two years. The update contains numerous policy changes and technical adjustments of which FHA lenders should be aware. This Legal Update highlights some of the most noteworthy changes that have the potential to impact lender operations.
