BGC Insurance Group announces major arrival for aviation business

To say that BGC Insurance Group (BGCI) has been busy building its new global aviation and space (re)insurance brokerage is perhaps an understatement, with the BGC Partners division snapping up experts left and right. The latest to come onboard is Bruce Fine, whose appointment as US aviation and aerospace managing partner and aviation industry financial solutions division president is effective immediately. He will be based in Atlanta and Chicago. An industry veteran who started out as an aviation underwriter for CIGNA in 1984, Fine most recently served as executive vice president and global aerospace manufacturers and infrastructure industry leader at JLT Specialty. His credentials also include time spent at Alexander & Alexander, Willis Global Aviation, and Marsh.
