Nationwide giving $50 refund to its personal auto insurance customers
Nationwide | April 09, 2020
Nationwide is giving each of its personal auto policyholders a $50 refund because of the coronavirus outbreak. While other insurers have been giving money back to policyholders based on fewer claims because drivers are stuck at home, Nationwide is stressing that its effort is meant to get money to customers who have been hurt by the outbreak. The refund amounts to an average savings of 15% over two months and is on top of existing discounts customers already earn. It will be returned to customers in the last form of payment they have made, whether electronic or by check.
