Hub snaps up Canadian agency

Hub International Limited has announced the acquisition of Kelliher Agencies, a Canadian company based in Kelliher, Saskatchewan. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Kelliher Agencies is a full-service, independent brokerage that provides personal, commercial, farm and specialty products insurance. Its focus on the agribusiness industry supporting Hub’s specialty practices. Graig Bolton, co-owner of Kelliher Agencies, will join HUB International Manitoba Limited. The Canadian agency is the latest in a string of acquisitions for Hub. Last week, the global brokerage announced the acquisition of Texas-based Resource Insurance Services. It also recently acquired South Dakota-based First Western Insurance Agency and Minnesota-based Corey Steinbach Insurance Agency.
