North Carolina Sets Up Insurance Camps, Victim Assistance Centers With FEMA, NFIP

Consumer assistance centers and insurance camps have been set up in areas of North Carolina affected by Hurricane Florence, according to a statement from North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey. “We are going into flood-ravaged areas to assist people whose homes and lives have been devastated by Hurricane Florence,” said Causey. “We want to help people get connected with their insurance companies and other agencies who can answer questions and address concerns so they can file insurance claims and can get their lives back on track as soon as possible.”
