Starkweather & Shepley announces acquisition, opening of new location

Starkweather & Shepley, the largest independent agency in Rhode Island and one of the nation’s largest insurance brokers, has announced the acquisition of a Connecticut agency and the opening of a new location in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., with O’Neill & Co. Insurance Group. Starkweather & Shepley has acquired the Wilson Agency, a Shelton, Conn., agency founded in 1953 by Charles Wilson.
