Chartered Insurance Institute outlines Dive In participation

This year’s Dive In festival has officially been launched, and the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has given a lowdown of its participation in collaboration with local institutes. Dive In, the global festival for diversity and inclusion in insurance, will be in 33 countries for its fifth edition. The event co-presented by the Insurance Institute of Cardiff features McGloin, the first female with a spinal cord injury to be granted a racing licence in the UK. Attendees will also get to hear from CII people engagement director Tali Shlomo, also a speaker at the upcoming Women In Insurance event, whose talk will be about the positive work being rolled out by the insurance profession. Meanwhile the event with the Insurance Society of Edinburgh will centre on a social enterprise, the advocacy of which is to eradicate homelessness. Finally, the event from the Insurance Institute of Ipswich, Suffolk, and North Essex will place the spotlight on Smith, who was spotted by Arsenal Ladies Football Club scouts at the age of 16 after being asked to leave two boys’ teams for being the best.
